Christmas Tree Festival

Sadly our 12th Christmas Tree Festival in December 2020 is cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.   Instead enjoy the beauty, peace and dynamic of the Festival through our:

We hope to host a live festival again in December 2021 and see all our 5000 friends again.   God’s Peace and Hope to all for Christmas 2020.

Normally the Festival opens with carols led by the Lowry Girls’ Choir and the lighting of the trees by the Mayor of Gosport.

TREES CAN BE SPONSORED by anyone who would like to do so. Please apply to the Parish Office. All trees are supplied, secured to their stands with an adjacent 3 pin socket. All that the sponsors must do is to decorate their allocated tree.

Last year a total of 782 performers provided a wide variety of Christmas music in support of the Festival.

As last year the CTF admission price was £3 for adults with accompanied children under 16 free.

All monies raised are in support of St.Mary’s funds.

Thank you for your generous support.

The aim of the Festival is to bring our community together in celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. It is organised and run by the community for the benefit and enjoyment of all. So please come along and bring your family, friends and visitors. Young children and old alike absolutely love it!

Rob Hamilton, Chairman.
