What's OnFor Families
Families are increasingly becoming the foundation of the church in the parish. Families with young children are very welcome in the church services.
Of particular interest may be:
‘Seahorses’ – Baby & Toddlers Groups
Every Tuesday at St.Francis’ Church, Clayhall from 10.00am-11.30am and every Thursday at The Parish Centre, Green Road from 9.30am-11.00am (during term time).
Please note that at this time Seahorses operates on a booking in basis – and so please contact Natasha, the group leader, through the Seahorses Facebook page or contact the Parish Office; thanks.
Alverstoke Parish Baby & Toddler’s Group provides a caring safe local support network for parents/carer with a safe environment for babies and toddlers to develop, play, build friendships, with a foundation of Christian values.
Baby area, indoor/outdoor toys and ride on’s, crafty activities, stories, and singing. Socialise and chat with other parents/carers.
Family fusion is a monthly church for everyone, especially families . It has activities, games and crafts followed by storytelling and songs finished off with a meal together!
Doors open at 3.30pm with refreshments served, then the activities start. You are welcome to come straight from school.

Bible & Biscuit
An informal adult discussion group which happily welcomes parents who want to bring their pre-school children along with them.
Bible & Biscuit discussions explore the reality of Jesus in everyday life whilst any children are welcome to play alongside.
Every Friday during term time from 9.30am.
Church Alive on Sundays
Arrive at St.Mary’s for about 10.20am on Sundays for your children to enjoy drinks ahead of the start of Church Alive at 10.50am with Coffee & breakfast bites for adults too! A service where families can be families, and parents can relax for their children to be in church. Families love Church Alive!
Special Social Events for Families
Look out for occasional family events like Skittles BBQs or Light Parties or Picnics on the Beach!
From time to time parenting or marriage enrichment courses will be run in the parish.
St.Mary’s Junior Sailing Club
This affords an opportunity for parents to serve alongside their teenagers sailing activities. For more information, see the Sailing Club’s website.
