Parish Centre on Wednesday 9th November at 1930 to burn off all the tree trimmings from last week’s men’s breakfast! If any can also arrive earlier at 3.00pm we shall cut out the turf to make a tidy fire pit. Suitably attired for smoke with gloves, garden forks, clippers etc.

‘PILGRIMS’ this Autumn with Christianity Explored
Our midweek church offers explorations in either John’s Gospel or the ‘Going Deeper’ series on ‘Forgiveness’. Starts again after half-term – each Thursday starting at 7.15pm in the Parish Centre, all welcome. Fellowship, Worship and Learning. Now also offering ‘Christianity Explored’ for those new to Christianity or those seeking to refresh their faith.
BIBLE FELLOWSHIP GROUPS (BFG)
regularly meet in homes or the Parish Centre for friendship and chatting, Bible study and discussion, prayer and reflection. The groups offer significant encourage -ment in faith and support in life. You’d be very welcome to join a group that suites you.

MONDAY TODDLER’S GROUP – HELP!
We’re delighted for Jo Fryer our Toddler Groups leader on being appointed to a new job. But, it leaves our 1.30pm Monday Toddler Group in the Parish Centre leaderless as of 31st October! If anyone is able to stand in and cover a few weeks then your help would be greatly appreciated whilst we plan for the future. Please have a word with the clergy, churchwardens or Libby Norris – thank you.
CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL STEWARDS
This year’s Christmas Tree Festival takes place on Friday 9th, Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th December 2016. As in previous years we are asking for volunteers to help make the event another huge success. A DEMENTIA FRIENDLY GROUP
Cessac House (The Redan off Fort Road) hosts a special group on the first Monday of each month from 2.00pm- 4.00pm. An open invitation is extended by Nerys Blackburn who is the Dementia Team Leader/Advisor.

All year long a basket at the back of St.Mary’s welcomes any provisions to support local homeless young people in the care of the Accommodation Resource Centre.
