Opportunity to build community links and serve two of our local schools! Leesland Infant and Junior Schools would love to hear from any adults who might be interested in listening to readers. Listening to readers at school is a fun and informal way to serve our community and build on the great relationship between the schools and the church. Volunteers would hopefully be able to offer an hour or two a week during term-time to sit with children and help them read! The school staff will be able to guide volunteers as to how to help the children get the most from their reading. If interested please contact Rev Tim Watson stating who you’d like to support, (Infants, Juniors or both!) and give a contact number or email address that can be passed on to the school Contact Tim on 023 9243 9737 or at

The Richardson family moved to Southsea last Monday but Chris’s role as curate and their home phone number and emails will all stay the same. Meanwhile Chris flew off with 15 other curates and the Bishop to the Holy Land on Wednesday! We wish Abbie, Chris with James & Kate every blessing in their new home and look forward to hearing about Chris’s experiences upon his return this Wednesday.

We sought to avoid this survey and so we regret we’re required to present a questionnaire to you on Sunday 28th January so that the CofE can gain a good missional understanding about who comes to church these days! We hope you won’t mind participating for 5 mins when you attend church that day – thank you for your co-operation.
