Being a school governor on behalf of the church is a very significant voluntary role. We’re seeking two folk from the congregation/electoral roll who may be able to offer their time and skills to serve our primary schools. If it could be you called to this roll then have a word with Andy Norris who’d be pleased to chat, thank you.

plus data and photo consent forms.
Forms for the six yearly Electoral Roll renewal plus data protection and photo consent are available at the back of church. Those on the current roll have one in a named envelope to collect whilst all other worshippers are welcome to take a non-addressed copy. It would help enormously if everyone could fill in data and photo forms even if you don’t fill in the Electoral Roll membership, thanks.

LENT 2019
ASH WEDNESDAY COMMUNION 6th March
Start Lent at our special communion service for Ash Wednesday with the option of ‘ashes’ at 6.30pm in St.Mary’s on 6th March.
TALKING JESUS COURSE Lent 2019
The CofE joined partners to undertake some national research asking: What do people in England know and believe about Jesus? What do they really think of us, his followers? The results were as staggering as they were encouraging. Using this information an upbeat 6 week course for all church members has been produced; each week introduced by a short film. Some of our home groups will use the course before Easter and others after; whilst Church Alive will use and discuss the films from 3rd March. Ideal for Lent, we’re sure you’ll be fascinated, encouraged and challenged.
The sessions are:
❖ Everyone Talking Jesus
❖ What Motivates Us
❖ Living Distinctively
❖ Our Story
❖ God’s Story
❖ Go On
