NEXT SATURDAY 29th – MICHAELMAS FAYRE
12noon-4.00pm including our
10p Messy Fun Fete in St.Mary’s Church grounds. Last year our new innovation of the family fun in the church yard was very successful for the community. We need many helpers to express God’s welcome through running the dozen fete games. Thank you to those who have already signed up, today Jo Northey will be asking which stalls you can help on. We still need more volunteers. Thank you for your support, this was a great way to show love to local families at last year.
Michaelmas Church Music & Prayer
St.Mary’s is open throughout the fayre – with a repertoire of organ music played for visitors and a prayer space in the chapel.
Michaelmas COMMUNITY CONCERT
A feast of local musical talent from 7.00pm-9.00pm on
29th September in St.Mary’s. A retiring offering for St.Mary’s music ministry. Bring flags for our usual proms style patriotic finale!
Michaelmas ROAD CLOSURE STEWARDS
For the first time we’ve had permission to close Green Road – this will add much to the Fayre. But to do this we need to offer at least four volunteers stewards at the road barriers (to let in emergency vehicles). Support will be given plus official reflective tops. Please let Andy Norris know if you can offer help.
Look out for our STALLS within the Fayre!
Visit our two Parish Centre Regeneration Stalls – meet the team with latest news; buy their cakes, sweets and knitted hedgehogs!
Also members are hosting stalls for our Africa Partnerships: look out for Debie & Hazel selling their decorated pottery – and Michael with cakes/sweets supported by baking from our children’s groups/families (delivered to stall on the day or in advance to Jo Northey at 8, Gomer Lane) – thank you.

PRAYER CARE Every Sunday
Just a reminder that members of our prayer team are available to pray with anyone privately and confidentially about any matter from 10.15am-10.45am between the screens in St.Mary’s north aisle.
PLEASE WEAR A NAME BADGE TODAY!
With a theme ‘You know me by name!’ at the start of a new autumn season we’d encourage all at St.Mary’s to wear a name badge for Sept/Oct. You may like to make one at home or, when you arrive, just make one at the table at the back of St.Mary’s – thank you.
WOULD YOU LIKE A PERMANENT BADGE MAKING FOR YOU?
If you fill in the slip and pop it in the small box at the back then Hilary Wilson has kindly offered to make proper badges. Thank you Hilary.
