A huge THANK YOU, to everyone who continues to support our fundraising efforts and to all the volunteers hosting such a fabulous range of events.

Gifts, donations, coffee mornings, events and the change collected in milk bottles have boosted the total raised by the end of  October 2017 to nearly £25,000!  Thank you all.  Having targeted £20,000 by the Michaelmas Fayre it looks like we’ll reach our £25,000 Christmas target too!
The milk bottles are gradually coming back filled with much appreciated change. Thank you to those who have returned their first, and taken another one to fill. If you have one in the kitchen – please share your change with it, and return it to the Parish Centre when it’s full!

The team have been busy planning the fundraisers for this year. We will be advertising these in as many publications, and places as we can – so keep a look out for the posters, and make sure you get your tickets early to avoid disappointment!!

Coming Up!

25th November: BARN DANCE at Bay House School Hall.

Bay House School Hall, 7.30. Tickets will be on sale in September – £12 to include Ploughman’s supper and Dessert (apple pies and cream to be provided by Morrisons of Gosport).

The last event of this year is the Barn Dance on Saturday, 25th November in Bay House School Hall. Tickets are £12, and we have already sold 50. We are aiming to sell 150 – so please help to make this event a sell-out as well. You can buy your ticket from the Parish Centre, which is open from 9-12 each weekday morning. We’re getting ready for an evening of fun, dancing (of a sort), good food and dessert. Please bring your own drinks and glasses. Morrisons are supplying us with Apple pies and cream for dessert, as well as a hamper with Christmas goodies for the raffle. Asda will also be providing us with a hamper to raffle, and we will have lots of other prizes, including a £25 Gift Card for Marks and Spencer, a variety of bottles with alcohol in them, toiletries, an electric toothbrush, a cuddly toy …
If you are able to donate a raffle prize (the sort you would like to receive), then please drop it into the Parish Centre, marked for the Regeneration Raffle.

We’re grateful to local businesses and individuals who help sponsor and organise our range of fund raising activities; thank you all.  Please see  OUR BUSINESS SPONSORS page for more details.

From the Chair of the Fundraising Team…

We are especially appreciative of individual donations, and we will have some permanent record to commemorate the contribution from our community. Can you help us by making a donation?
You could set up a Standing Order – collect a letter from the Parish Centre – the standing order form is on the reverse.
If you prefer to make a donation by cheque, please make it payable to the Alverstoke Parish Centre Regeneration Fund.

You’d be welcome to contact me for more information.
Thank you
