We think kids are great and want them to experience the love of Jesus when they join in the life of the church across the parish.

Kids are Alive at Church Alive on Sunday

Arrive at St.Mary’s for about 10.25am on Sunday for your children to enjoy drinks and simple breakfast food ahead of the start of Church Alive at 10.45am.  Coffee & breakfast bites for adults too!

Children are invited to sit at the front on their special bean bags, families sit near the front too.  Following the first music a child lights our candles, there is an interactive introduction with the children and an action song before the Bible reading and their groups.  It is a service where you can relax to let your children be the children God has made them to be!

Church Alive offers lively music and learning for all ages plus activities for children in dedicated groups:

  • Tot’s Alive for Pre-schoolers
  • Kids Alive for KS1 & KS2 (primary aged)
  • Youth Alive for KS3 (secondary aged)

The second Sunday of the month will include communion at Church Alive when the children will be very much involved in the activity of the celebration.  The third Sunday may sometimes involve a special celebration together for the children with an adult in the style of Messy Church.
