Our many activities and acts of worship for adults add up to offer a comprehensive programme for friendship and care along with growing our faith and prayer all through life.
Groups for Adults
Bible Fellowship Groups
For friendship and chatting, Bible study and discussion, prayer and reflection – join one of our Home Groups. There are seven groups meeting in homes across the parish or in the Parish Centre; you’d be very welcome to join the one which suits you. See the Bible Fellowship Groups page for more details.
A Course for the Christian Journey. A teaching and discipleship resource from the Church of England. Pilgrim aims to create a place where people can explore the Christian faith together and see how it can be lived out each day. See the Pilgrim page for details.

Men’s Breakfasts and Women’s Breakfasts
The men and the women get together for their own fellowship over breakfast in the Parish Centre once a month at 9.00am. Each group invites speakers on various topics to address the gathering through a programme which covers a range of topics of interest.
Parish Lunch Club
Gathering for a cooked lunch on the second Tuesday of each month in the Parish Centre at 12noon. All Welcome.
Members of our parish branch would be very pleased to welcome you to their meetings held at 2.00pm in the Parish Centre on the third Tuesday of every month.
Cuppa & Company Bereavement Group
A monthly group for friendship, chatting and care in the aftermath of the death of someone we love. Gathering with a few others who are also bereaved can help, especially with the home made cakes that are enjoyed. Meetings are in the Parish Centre Lounge on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 2.00pm.
St.Mary’s Church Choir
St. Mary’s Church Choir comprising Adults and Children, sings Sunday by Sunday helping to lead the worship each morning and evening. New members are welcome. Please see the Music page for more details.
St.Mary’s Flower Guild
Decorating St.Mary’s week by week, for special occasions and hosting Flower Festivals, the enthusiastic Flower Guild enjoy their creativity, their meetings and welcome new members.
St.Mary’s Bell Ringers
Ringing the changes on Sundays and at weddings. The ringers enjoy the tower of eight bells and welcome new members. They rehearse on Friday evenings.
Adults Sharing In Ministry
In addition to the support of all our activities among families and children, or the organisation of the parish in managing our many buildings and activities; adults may also be interested in serving the community through:
