LOCKDOWN 3 SERVICE FIREBREAK!

St.Mary’s remains open each day from 9.00am to 3.30pm for private prayer.

The PCC have extended our voluntary ‘firebreak’ in hosting live services
for the rest of January.

Hence there will be no Sunday or midweek services
or 8.15am prayer in St.Mary’s or our parish’s churches on
Sundays 17th, 24th & 31st January.

It is confirmed that this also applies to St.Luke’s on 24th January.

The PCC will review this in the light of the trends and pressures upon the QA Hospital at the end of January.  It is the hope of the staff team and PCC to host live worship again in February – to be confirmed.

We’re very sorry about this but a live service firebreak, although not required by law, seems to be an appropriate response whilst the new strain of Covid-19 is so virulent and the pressure on our hospitals is so critical.

Let us pray for the hospital staff and all under such intolerable pressure at this time.

In the meantime grace and peace to you as we continue this new year at Home.

Let us be a church at prayer for our community and the world…
