Christmas 2020Virtual Christmas Tree Festival, Nativity Trail and Christmas Services
Although the celebrations will be different the Christmas message remains the same. Covid-19 Tier 2, 3 & 4 regulations allow us to host Christmas celebrations. Read on for our virtual Christmas Tree Festival, the village Nativity Trail, and our Christmas Carol and Crib Services. Even so, please note that we will continually assess the local Covid-19 and staff/volunteer situation and so some of these activities may be cancelled at short notice for the sake of community safety – thank you.

CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL
We’re sorry not to be hosting our live festival with 90 trees and 5000 visitors. But our online virtual tree festival will be a celebration with a behind the scenes look and interviews. Using amazing images from past festivals it will be a beautiful and postive experience conjuring many fond memories with joy this Advent. It will be launched on 10th December 2020 via our Facebook page.
CHRISTMAS NATIVITY TRAIL
From 12th-23rd December, the Christmas Nativity Trail is for you in your bubble to look in the shop windows of Alverstoke Village. Keeping socially distanced from others, see if you can spot the knitted nativity characters and animals and follow the story? Four of them have QR code short videos! Follow the trail to its end at the Crib inside St.Mary’s Church. Keep safe and have fun! Print off the pdf Trail Leaflet and the Trail Map at the click of these buttons…
For services below please note: DOORS OPEN just 15 minutes before a service so that we are indoors for the minimum time, thank you.
