MESSY CHURCH    This Thursday 26th

The next fabulous celebration for children and their adults returns at 3.30pm in the Parish Centre on 26th.  Games, stories, crafts, worship ending with a cooked tea served at 5.15pm.  This week’s theme is focussing on Daniel and the Lions, learning not to be anxious but giving all our requests to the Lord Jesus.  Don’t miss it!

Today @ CHURCH ALIVE

We’re grateful to the Tuesday Evening Home Group who will be hosting our worship at 10.45am today. Pray for them as they take courage to share and lead us in praise!

MICHAELMAS FAYRE Next Saturday

Next Saturday is our village Fayre which we share in hosting with the Gosport Rotary Club.  Come along between 12noon and 4.00pm to the Parish Centre, village centre and church and join the 5000 visitors to the fayre.  We’re closing Green Lane again this year and will enjoy great stalls, bands and entertainments.

MICHAELMAS FAYRE at St.Mary’s

Bring your guests along to the church.

In the churchyard is our popular ’10 Penny Messy Family Fun Fete’ where all traditional fete games are 10p or free.  It’s all about our church family welcoming and blessing our community – last year 1100 games were played by children and adults!

Whilst the church will be open throughout the afternoon for guests to relax, explore and hear Paul Pilott and Sylvia Lock play the organ for an afternoon’s recital.  Teas available.

Then return in the evening for our…

Kate is looking for 6 more willing folk to support us for the 10p games in the churchyard. If you can spare and hour or two then please call Kate or make yourself known after the morning services. Thank you

PLEASE WEAR A NAME BADGE TODAY!

At the start of a new autumn season we’d encourage all at St.Mary’s to wear a name badge for Sept/Oct. You may like to make one at home or, when you arrive, just make one at the table at the back of St.Mary’s – thank you.

WOULD YOU LIKE A PERMANENT BADGE MAKING FOR YOU?

If you fill in the slip and pop it in the small box at the back then Hilary Wilson has kindly offered to make proper badges.    Thank you Hilary.
