All are invited to St.Faith’s this Thurs 18th at 8.00pm (in the Bulson Hall attached to the church) for a significant meeting at 8.00pm to hear about the future of Gosport Deanery and our churches. This will be very challenging and starts off a six week consultation period about the future. It means change but has the possibility of significant missional investment in Gosport for the future. The more who can get along the better so we can respond and share in this.

HAVE YOU GOT A BADGE ON?
We’re encouraging all at St.Mary’s to wear a name badge for Sept/Oct. You may like to make one at home or just make one at the table at the back of St.Mary’s when you arrive – thank you.
WOULD YOU LIKE A PERMANENT BADGE MAKING FOR YOU?
If you fill in the slip and pop it in the small box at the back then Hilary Wilson has kindly offered to make proper badges. Thank you Hilary.
Please pray for our wonderful group of 10 youth taking part each Weds from 5.30-7pm. Might you be able to come and help us by cooking/washing up a simple meal for these next few Wednesdays? We would also love another volunteer with church DBS to be in the discussions. Please see Jo Northey or Chris Richardson.

CHRISTMAS BOOKLET #Follow The Star
There is a lovely booklet to give out to guests over Christmas. It introduces Jesus through a journey over the 12 days of Christmas. We have some 10,000 people visit us through December and Andy would love to be able to give the booklet to our guests. You can see the booklet at the back of St.Mary’s. Copies cost £1 each and if during October we can ‘crowd fund’ this through the gifts of those who’d like to contribute then we’ll give out as many as we can afford. if you’d like to donate then envelopes marked ‘Christmas Booklet’ in the offering or Office would be wonderful – thank you.
