On Sunday, at St Mary’s, we are very much looking forward to Summer Hymns of Praise with Holy Baptism at our 9.15 service.

It will be a beautiful service which you are all very welcome indeed to come along to. All of the hymns have been chosen by members of the congregation.

Please be aware that we are likely to overrun slightly so please do join in with the worship if you are coming along for the Church Alive service and you’re a bit early.

Why not join us at 9.15am as it promises to be a special service of worship?

IN MEMORY OF KAY LANCASTER – Chairs!
We hope that Kay’s many friends may like to help us remember her through a significant refurbishment project in St.Francis’ for which we are seeking donations in her memory throughout Au-gust. We shall see what Kay’s memorial fund totals in Septem-ber with a view to purchasing six arm chairs and towards repla-cing as many other chairs as possible – ideally 30. Kay did in fact start the research in to providing new chairs for St.Francis’ and such a resourcing memorial seems to be a very fitting in-vestment for the future mission and worship of the church in her memory. The whole project may cost about £3000 and so any gifts for St.Francis’ via the Parish Office or to Beverly Harris (St.Francis’ Treasurer) from those who cherished Kay would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
