COMMISSIONING OF TEAMS
At 9.15am Communion today we give thanks for and
Commission with prayer over 35 folk in the teams who visit 13 nursing homes, take communion to the housebound, visit the bereaved and host Cuppa & Company, visit through
Pastoral Link and express such pastoral care.
Next Sunday at Church Alive we shall commission with thanksgiving the team of 30+ who serve children, families and teens on our behalf in the parish.
In fact we have identified over 190 volunteers who serve the Lord in the life and ministry of the church! We’ll reflect upon this amazing offering of time and ministry in October. Thank you All!

We look forward to welcoming Bishop Christopher on 26th November for a special combined service at 10.00am.
Confirmation ‘expresses the laying on of hands’ after Baptism for the renewal of the Holy Spirit. Like Pentecost, it’s a wonderful celebration of faith, trust and the abiding life of God within us. Please have a word with the clergy if you’d be interested in getting Confirmed or Baptised.
For adults and teenagers Confirmation and/or Baptism does require preparation, this entails taking the Alpha Course for adults whilst Tim & Clare Watson will host a group for teens.
