THANK YOU VERY MUCH INDEED
to all those who are responding to the Giving Packs in renewing your Christian Giving to the church – for
increases in giving, for one off gifts towards our deficit, and for signing up to the Parish Giving Scheme.
We are very grateful to you as you give to the Lord in these and all ways.
It has been pointed out to us that the letter in the pack does not include the ‘0’ at the start of the bank account number for any ‘transfers’, so if you are able to transfer an immediate gift in this way then the account is:
St.Mary’s Alverstoke PCC
Sort Code: 30-93-56
Number: 07382842
Bank: Lloyds TSB Bank Plc, Gosport Branch

DID YOU KNOW? Made your pud yet?
The last Sunday of the Church Year, the Sunday before Advent, is often called ‘Stir-up Sunday’. Stir-up Sunday is the traditional day for everyone in the family to take a turn at stirring the Christmas pudding although it is named after the Collect which prays: Stir up our hearts O Lord.
