9.30am St.Faith’s SERVICE CHANGE NEXT SUNDAY
Our new 8.00am service of BCP Morning Prayer (1st/3rd Sundays) starts today; there will be an opportunity to light candles for the General Election. St.Faith’s congregation host their first 9.30am Morning Worship on 10th May (2nd/4th Sundays). Communion for each on all other weeks.

VISIT OF OUR GOSPORT AREA DEAN
We’re pleased to welcome Revd Andy Davis back to the Parish at 9.15am and 10.45am in St.Mary’s today. Andy was a curate here and celebrates his 25th Anniversary in ministry in July. He is now our Gosport Area Dean. We shall also look forward to him joining St.Faith’s and St.Francis’ in the future. In Gosport, Andy is vicar for Holy Trinity and Christchurch.

SPECIAL DEANERY PENTECOST SERVICE 24th May
Andy Davis will be back for Pentecost which is to be Deanery celebration – and a commissioning for members of all our deanery churches in their mission and local ministries. Please join us in hosting this service in St.Mary’s at 6.30pm on 24th May as we welcome friends from across Gosport.

Volunteers: CHRISTIAN AID WEEK 10th-16th May 2015
One week to go… a good team of some 25, thanks, but still many streets remain as we seek new volunteers to deliver and collect envelopes from homes – providing the main income for Christian Aid. CONCERT ‘TRIAL BY JURY’
Join us for a 60 min programme of musical gems by Paul Pilott, Louise Helyer and Friends in the Parish Centre on Saturday 16th May at 7.30pm. Always fabulous musical evenings from this excellent group of singers.

RENEWING THE PARISH CENTRE
    A large turn out from church and community last Wednesday to start thinking about replacing the Parish Centre – from which initial project groups are forming: design and finance. If you would be interested in joining either group then please let the Churchwardens know.

SUMMER TERM PILGRIM – join the fellowship.
Join us on Thursday evening in the Parish Centre at 7.30pm for our Pilgrim evening starting with how we can have confidence in the Resurrection from John’s Gospel. A midweek act of worship, prayer, friendship, learning, growing.

SIDESMEN TRAINING TUES or SAT
Our Sunday ‘welcome’ is key to the future of the church. All current and new sidesmen are asked to attend training to reflect on this across the parish on either 5th May at 7.30pm or 9th May at 9.00am in St.Mary’s. This is for those who would be welcomers at St.Francis’ and St.Faith’s too – thanks.

APCM APPOINTMENTS
90 members filled the Parish Centre to hear reports, make appointments and celebrate church growth – hearing how the Electoral Roll membership has risen with 23 new members to 415. Newly appointed to the Parochial Church Council were Phil Dray, David McKinlay, Betty Baird and Sarah Savery with Graham Hewitt being elected to the Gosport Deanery Synod. Bill Lock and Kathryn Clarke are our Churchwardens.
