New Training for all sidemen is essential and will be on 5th May at 7.30pm or 9th May at 9.00am. See wardens for more information. This is for those who would be welcomers at St.Francis’ and St.Faith’s too – thank you.

THE PCC & THE SUNDAY SERVICE PATTERN
Thank you to those who prayed for PCC last Tuesday which welcomed the various options within the Brodrick Hall Mission Action Planning report that need to be considered alongside the development of the Parish Centre and our parish needs.
The Parish Accounts were also received for 2014 – there was gratitude for so much which has been given in many ways and for the work of all the finance team. Thanks that the finances are improved over 2013 through increased gifts and savings, even so, the parish still runs a shortfall of over £1000 per month! Any new givers would therefore be very welcome!
Prayers were especially valued for the discussion and decision seeking to reduce from 3.8 to 2.8 the number of communions on an average Sunday of the month. Following the open meetings the PCC did approve the significant change weekly to alternate communion with morning worship at St.Faith’s; and the historic change to alternate communion with morning prayer at 8.00am in St.Mary’s. This will take place from 3rd May. St.Faith’s Communion will be 1st, 3rd & usually 5th Sundays; 8.00am HC will be 2nd, 4th & 5th.
8.00am CONGREGATIONAL MEETING
Worshippers at 8.00am are invited to create the exact format of morning prayer to start on 3rd May at a meeting with the Rector on Tuesday 24th March, time to be chosen on Sunday by the congregation choosing between 3.30pm or 6.00pm.
