Electoral Roll welcome membership and giving packs are available for the annual update of the parish Electoral Roll which is taking place during March closing on 5th April, Easter Day, ahead of the APCM.

Churches Together Open Air Service on 3rd April at 11.15am outside St Mary’s (R.C) Church, Gosport High Street. Join fellow Christians in a shared act of witness and worship. (If wet, at Christ Church, Stoke Road.)

BFGs Great for Lent!
We host 5 small Bible Fellowship Groups which regularly meet in homes or the Parish Centre for friendship, prayer, Bible discussion, reflection. They always welcome new members – details on the website under ‘Courses’ or from Diana Dow.

NEW PARISH CENTRE WORKING GROUP


In January the PCC supported the vision to renew or replace the Parish Centre which celebrates 50 years in 2018! Any who may be interested to work hard towards this, both in the planning of what to do or in fundraising, are invited to a first meeting to get it all going on 29th April at 7.30pm in the Parish Centre.

Andy Norris is attending a conference with our future Curate, Chris Richardson, Mon-Wed this week in Salisbury entitled Leading Your Church Into Growth. An anglican initiative, they are sponsored by the diocese.

Parochial Church Council 10th March
Where the accounts and formal report of 2014 will be approved for commendation to the annual meeting. The PCC will also discuss the weekly alternating of communion with morning prayer at both St.Faith’s Church and for St.Mary’s 8.00am congregation. They will also continue with Mission Action Planning, especially hearing from the group which has been considering our longer term vision for the Brodrick Hall.

Where we are seeking the support of the Deanery on Thursday in the hope that the Bishop may appoint a Pioneering Minister in collaboration with Forton – sandwiching the Leesland/Anne’s Hill area north of B3333 and south of A32 up to HMS Sultan. Please pray for the meeting of the DMPC (reps from each Gosport parish) on 12th March when this will continue to be discussed.
