The Collect for Christmas 1
God our Father,
in love you sent your Son
that the world may have life:
lead us to seek him among the outcast
and to find him in those in need,
for Jesus Christ’s sake.

The Collect for Epiphany (6th January)
Creator of the heavens,
who led the Magi by a star
to worship the Christ-child:
guide and sustain us,
that we may find our journey’s end
in Jesus Christ our Lord.

Can you serve the mission of the parish as a
SCHOOL FOUNDATION GOVERNOR?
The PCC seeks to nominate 2 congregational members to serve the Leesland Infant & Junior Schools and one member for Alverstoke Junior School. This is a very rewarding role. It does take the commitment of up to 2 governors meetings each term (5 a year) and involvement on a school committee. But, with more people choosing church schools than attend churches on a Sunday, it is one of the most important areas of the churches mission. In this church governors are vital. Please have a word with the clergy, thank you.

MARRIAGE PREPARATION LUNCHES
We are hosting all the couples to be married here in 2015 for their preparation on either 8th February or 8th March in the Parish Centre. Their special time starts with lunch at 12.30pm. If any are able to assist in preparing (lasagne) and in serving the lunch please let Sue know in the Parish Office after 5th January, thanks.
