Across the parish your harvest offerings of imperishable groceries and toiletries are very much appreciated in support of Gosport Food & Basics Bank; thank you very much. There will be a FAIRTRADE stall at St.Mary’s over coffee in Church. At St.Francis we host a debate on Poverty whilst the great Harvest hymns will be sung in the evening at St.Mary’s.

Next Thursday OUR NEW PILGRIM COURSE
For 10 Thursday evenings starting on 2nd October, the new anglican course to discover, renew and deepen our understanding of faith. 7.30pm in the Parish Centre. The evenings commence with some prayer and music. Please invite guests with the special Pilgrim leaflet.

CONGRATULATIONS to Revd Andy Davis
Upon his appointment as our new Gosport Area Dean last Sunday. Andy follows Canon John Draper who has served us for the past 5 years. Andy’s first email asks:
Age Concern Gosport have a client who is deaf, blind and uses a wheel chair who would like to go swimming at Holbrook on a Thursday evening requiring an escort to take him to and from the swimming pool but the escort need not swim. No help needed in getting in and out of a car. Expenses would be reimbursed. Please contact Andy Davis.
